First Hawaiian Bank Renovation Project Tour

OAHU, HAWAII

Located in the heart of downtown Honolulu, First Hawaiian Center is the corporate headquarters of First Hawaiian Bank - the oldest and largest bank based in Hawaii. The tower is one of the most well-known buildings with a striking presence towering as the second tallest building in the State. Nordic PCL Construction was hired to complete a complex replacement of the upper roof exhaust fans, air conditioning units and four cooling towers while maintaining daily bank operations. The logistics for the crane as well as demolition and preparation for massive equipment required a collaborative approach from both the client, subcontractors and Nordic PCL. First Hawaiian Center Properties Manager, Danielle Yafuso, and the NPCL team will walk attendees through the project and highlight best practices for working in downtown Honolulu.
