Meeting/Event Information

Join us for a tour of West Oahu Aggregate’s recycling facility along with Pineridge Farms’ crushing and screening operations where we will observe WOA’s Eagle processing plant that turns concrete and asphalt into reusable aggregate. We’ll also witness the sizing (hammering/munching) of bulk material, WOA’s Ready Mix Concrete batch plant, and WOA’s Terex wash plant that generates washed materials. Following WOA’s tour, we will observe Pineridge’s crushing & screening operation at Waste Management’s Waimanalo Gulch facility. Here, we will see the sizing and crushing of rock into spec materials for use in Waste Management’s upcoming liner project and for daily use on the landfill.

*Tour group will meet at WOA/Pineridge’s Campbell yard, where we will ride down to Nanakuli in a group 15-passenger van.

Requirements: 

• All attendees must wear long pants, covered-toe shoes, a safety vest, safety glasses, and hard hat*
• Bring hydration in case it gets hot out!
• Bento lunches will be provided to attendees by NAWIC Hawaii
  • (GPRM has kindly offered their office for attendees who will also be attending the GPRM tour to eat their bento lunch)
